Job summary

Northcott in Kellyville is hiring casual Assistant in Nursing to provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants. Join a not-for-profit disability service that values flexibility, dignity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, hygiene, daily living tasks, and supporting customers with complex care needs. You must be willing to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

At least one year of experience in disability/aged care, particularly within group home settings.
Competency in manual handling, including hoist operation and repositioning.
Experience with PEG feeding and safe swallowing support.
Experience in epilepsy management and responding to challenging behaviours.
Ability to provide bowel care and support with bowel routines.
Current Australian driver’s licence and ability to drive a 12-seater and wheelchair-accessible van.

Support customers with complex care needs while promoting dignity and respect.
