Job summary

Alliance Community in Australia is seeking a compassionate Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to provide high quality, person-centred care to a participant living in the Schofields area. You will perform personal care, medication assistance, and support daily living activities in the participant’s home, with a focus on safety and dignity.

The role requires experience with ceiling hoists, manual handling, and transfers, with ongoing shifts starting on Tuesday 7:00am–1:00pm and potential additional times.

Qualifications

• Experience with ceiling hoists for transfers.
• Ability to administer medications and injections (preferred).
• Strong communication in English and with participants.
• Reliable, compassionate care with professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support safe transfers using a ceiling hoist.
• Provide manual handling assistance following safe work practices.
• Assist with domestic duties and meal preparation.
• Provide transport and community access support as needed.
• Maintain professional boundaries and consistent support.
