Job summary

HammondCare Volunteers in Wahroonga, NSW is seeking a Specialised Carer - Home Care. You will provide compassionate personal care to clients across Wahroonga & Terrey Hills cottages, with shifts morning, afternoon, and night.

You must be a people-person, with experience in aged or community care, a valid driver's license and access to an insured car. A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, with training and development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Willingness to start in aged care career.
• Valid driver's license with insured car.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or willingness to obtain.
• Empathy and compassion essential.
• Good admin and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate changes in care and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including grooming and hygiene.
• Deliver care per individual care plans.
• Support and care for guests during overnight or extended stays.
• Promote guest dignity and independence through activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in care professionally.
• Care for clients across Wahroonga & Terrey Hills Cottages.
