ARRCS is seeking a qualified Personal Care Worker to join the Old Timers Aged Care facility in Alice Springs on a full-time 4-month contract. You will provide care including grooming, mobility support and meals assistance, aligned with resident care plans.

Applicants should have prior aged care or disability support experience and be able to work with minimal supervision. The role offers a competitive hourly rate ($38.33–$39.91 gross) and a strong benefits program.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Care.
• Demonstrated experience in assisting with activities of daily living in an aged care setting.
• Demonstrated effective and clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
• An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions relevant to the role.
• Mandatory requirements: NDIS Worker Screening, National Police Check (dated within 3 months), Flu vaccination.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care including grooming, showering and dressing, mobility and meals assistance according to care plans.
• Support residents with daily activities and wellbeing within the facility.
• Report to senior nursing staff as required and work with minimal supervision.
