Job summary

Opal HealthCare is hiring for a Permanent Part-Time role at a beach house-inspired community near Aldinga Beach. The position offers a base rate of $36.23 per hour plus penalties for weekends and public holidays and 12% superannuation. The role is part-time with a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

You will provide personal care, build relationships with residents and their families, and work with nurses to ensure high-quality, compassionate care in a warm community setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability.
• Nursing student.
• A caring approach, strong communication skills and commitment to resident wellbeing.
• Reliability and availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment checks, including a police check, NDIS Worker’s Clearance and pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that supports residents’ daily living, dignity and wellbeing.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Support residents with meals, mobility, hygiene and social engagement.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Contribute to a warm, respectful and supportive care community.
• Follow workplace health, safety, clinical and compliance requirements.
