Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia – Gold Coast QLD is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to partner with residents, support daily routines and care plans within St Vincent’s Care Services Southport, and ensure residents feel safe, valued and engaged.

The role offers permanent employment with stable rosters, salary packaging options, and a supportive, faith-centered not-for-profit workplace.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
• NCCHC check if under 6 months old; NDIS Worker Screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily routines and personal care needs.
• Assist with lifestyle activities and choices to keep residents engaged.
• Adhere to care plans and maintain accurate records using AutumnCare.
