Job summary

Ayres Rock Resort in Uluru is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator to design and coordinate an innovative activities program that enhances the social, emotional, spiritual and cultural wellbeing of a multicultural workforce. You will work within the Wellbeing Team, partnering with staff and community stakeholders on-site at Ayers Rock Resort.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about improving social and emotional wellbeing in a remote community.
  • Experience designing and delivering a coordinated wellbeing activities program.
  • A confident communicator with cross-cultural coordination skills.
  • Flexible, reliable and culturally respectful in all aspects of work.
  • Awareness of Aboriginal cultures and history; willing to integrate Aboriginal perspectives.
  • NT Working with Children Check (Ochre card) and Australian driver's license (or willingness to obtain).

Do you want to make a real difference? This role is about creating connection and supporting the wellbeing of staff at Ayers Rock Resort through development and coordination of wellbeing activities.

Based at Uluru, Ayers Rock Resort, you will be part of a dedicated Wellbeing Team working in partnership with our staff and community stakeholders.

About The Role
  • Design and coordinate an innovative activities program that enhances the social, emotional, spiritual and cultural wellbeing of a multicultural workforce, with an emphasis on the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.
  • Coordinate communication and promotion for the activities program to promote engagement by Voyages employees and eligible residents.
  • Program Delivery & Evaluation: coordinate effective delivery of program activities and, in consultation with the GM of Wellbeing, evaluate activities to promote program outcomes and continual enhancement.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to effectively deliver program outcomes.
About You
  • Passionate about working with people to improve their social and emotional wellbeing in a remote community setting.
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of a coordinated activities program to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of participants.
  • A confident communicator with strong coordination skills within a cross-cultural and complex working environment.
  • Flexible, reliable and culturally respectful in all aspects of your work
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal cultures and history, knowledge of current issues affecting the lives of Aboriginal people and a willingness to incorporate Aboriginal perspectives and culturally safe approaches into program design and delivery.
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an NT Working with Children Check (Ochre card) and open Australian Driver's License.

Lived experience, community language skills and cultural knowledge are highly valued. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
