Job summary

Young Aces Cooper Park Pty Ltd operates a community tennis centre in Sydney, offering professional tennis coaching, court hire, competitions and school holiday programs. This is a permanent full-time role at 38 hours per week, dedicated to promoting active participation in sport and developing tennis skills within the local community.

You will coach, train, and guide participants, assess performance, plan sessions, and promote participation among youth and community groups, while officiating

Qualifications

AQF Certificate II or III in relevant field
Minimum of 1 year of work experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

Coach, train and instruct participants to develop their sporting skills
Assess performance and identify areas for improvement
Plan and deliver training sessions and monitor progress
Motivate participants and provide ongoing guidance
Assist with recruitment and coordination of players, volunteers and coaching staff
Organise registrations and coordinate entries into competitions and events
Promote participation and development among young people and communities
Officiate activities and ensure games follow rules and regulations
Coordinate programs and liaise with officials, clubs and organisations to ensure compliance with policies and standards
