Overview

In a region where distances are vast and communities are close-knit, the work of a Community Support Worker carries real weight. Based in Wudinna and working across the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN), this part-time ongoing role offers you the chance to make a genuine difference in the daily lives of older people and those living with disability - right in your own community.

What You'll Be Doing

Working within EFNLHN's Consumer Directed Care model, you'll deliver personalised support that puts participants - not providers - in the driver's seat. Your day-to-day will vary based on what participants need, and may include:

• Providing personal care, hygiene assistance and mobility support in participants' homes or residential aged care settings
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Providing transport to appointments, errands and social activities
• Offering social support and companionship that helps participants stay connected and independent

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or Home and Community Care) - required for appointment at WHD4 level
