Job summary

Feros Care is seeking compassionate home care workers to support clients in their own homes across the Hervey Bay region. You will travel between appointments with a provided schedule, delivering person-centred care and assistance with daily living, mobility and comfort while promoting independence and safety.

What Your Day Might Look Like

• Enjoy meaningful, community-based work supporting clients in their own homes across the stunning Hervey Bay region and surrounding suburbs
• Work independently on the road with $0.99 travel reimbursement, where no two days are the same!
• Deliver person centred care, supporting clients with personal care, mobility and everyday living
• Create safe, comfortable homes while promoting dignity, choice and independence
• Build meaningful relationships through companionship and support client to stay connected with their community

What You Bring

• Experience supporting aged care clients in their own homes with daily living and household tasks
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Aged Care (with transcripts)
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
• Comfortable travelling up to 45 - 60 minutes
• COVID-19 vaccination (highly desirable)

What You Need to Know

• Guaranteed 20 - 40 hours per fortnight, depending on availability, with the opportunity to increase after probation
• Preferably available across weekdays/Preferably available across weekdays, with essential availability on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
• Flexible working hours, with services scheduled between 7:30am and 7:00pm
• Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and provide proof of work rights in Australia
