Job summary

RAAFA Home Care is seeking two part-time Community Support Workers to provide in-home support for clients across the West of Perth, including Cannington and surrounding areas. You will assist with personal care, meals, medication and shopping, helping clients stay independent at home.

The role offers competitive hourly rates, salary packaging, weekend penalty rates, and access to wide-ranging benefits within a supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Update your resume
• Be eligible to work in Australia
• A valid driver's licence with access to your own vehicle
• Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one
• Be up to date with your Flu vaccinations

Responsibilities

• Support clients to remain living at home
• Assist with client's personal care
• Assist clients with the management of their medication
• Assist in the preparation of meals for the clients
• Provide support to clients by assisting with shopping
• Support the clients socially and domestically while creating a positive rapport
• Encourage and promote the independence and freedom of choice of clients
