Job summary

Anchor Support Services Australia is seeking a compassionate, reliable Support Worker for casual shifts across the Grafton region in New South Wales.

You will provide person-centred support to older Australians and people living with disabilities, assisting with personal care, domestic tasks, community access, transport, meals, and documentation to ensure quality care. This casual role offers ~3 days per week with potential to move to full-time as client base grows.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to older Australians and people living with disabilities.
• Assist with personal care and domestic tasks.
• Offer community access and social support.
• Provide transport to appointments and shopping.
• Prepare meals and assist with medication (where qualified).
• Keep accurate progress notes and documentation.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Worker to join our team. This is a casual position offering approximately 3 days per week, with opportunity to transition into a full-time role as our client base continues to grow. About the Role You will provide person-centred support to older Australians and people living with disabilities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Duties may include:

• Personal Care
• Domestic Assistance and household tasks
• Community Access and Social Support
• Transport to appointments and shopping
• Meal Preparation
• Medication assistance (where qualified)
• Accurate progress notes and documentation

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current

• Current

First Aid & CPR Certificate

• Current Australian Driver License
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
