Job summary

CatholicCare in Waitara is seeking dedicated support workers who want to make a real difference in people’s lives—without night shifts or weekend work. The role offers flexible hours and meaningful community care.

You’ll support clients to live independently at home, assist with light domestic tasks, help them engage in the community, and travel between homes with kms reimbursed. A NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle – this is essential.
• Experience providing individual support.
• Commitment to high standards of care.
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Senior First Aid.
• A heart for helping people in a respectful and empowering way.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to live independently in their own homes.
• Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
• Help clients engage in the community and try new activities.
• Travel between clients with your own vehicle (kms reimbursed).
