Job summary

Alzheimer's Association of Queensland – Ipswich QLD is seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our community care team on a casual basis. You will support aged clients 65+ in their own homes with person-centred care.

This role offers flexible hours around 20 per week, travel within the Ipswich area, and ongoing education. A Certificate III in Aged Care or similar, current First Aid/CPR, license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care is essential.
• Experience supporting older people in a community setting.
• Strong time management and ability to work autonomously.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
• Current Queensland Open Driver’s Licence.
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Smart phone.
• National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Alzheimer’s Queensland (AQ) is a progressive organisation committed to supporting older Australians to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

We are seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our community care team on a casual basis for Ipswich location. This role supports aged care clients aged 65 years and above within their own homes, delivering services with a strong person-centred care approach.

You will play a meaningful role in enabling clients to remain engaged in their community while maintaining independence and wellbeing.
