A Social Visits Volunteer who can make a meaningful difference - One visit at a time!

Are you someone who enjoys a good chat? Music? How about a cuppa and cake? We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to visit a thoughtful elderly lady (Spanish Speaking) who’s feeling a bit lonely. Your time and company could make a world of difference. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift her spirits.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
