Kempsey Shire Council seeks a Ranger to maintain community safety, protect public spaces and ensure regulatory compliance across the Kempsey Shire. You will perform animal control, impounding, parking enforcement and investigations while engaging with residents and visitors to promote compliance and a safe environment.

The role involves on-call duties, weekend work, and a rotating roster within the Development and Compliance team.

Formación

• Experience in regulatory services and enforcement.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (Companion Animals Act, Impounding Act, Road Rules).
• Able to manage investigations, reports and court procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct patrols and investigations to enforce regulations.
• Respond to requests and complaints from the community.
• Issue penalty infringement notices and manage impounded animals.
• Maintain accurate records of enforcement activities.
• Educate the community and participate in dog attack investigations.
