Australia Post is seeking a collaborative professional to lead national community programs within the Community team, shaping initiatives that support Australian communities and strengthen our social impact.
You’ll own governance, budgeting, evaluation and reporting, build stakeholder partnerships, and work across Communications, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sustainability and Government Relations to deliver high-profile campaigns.
Being in a business support role at Australia Post means helping our people deliver for every Australian. Just like our Posties, you're still the people behind every parcel. Whatever your team or role, you're helping grow our people, grow our business and making a lasting impact on the Australian community. You'll find a culture of connection in our great people and the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.
This is a highly visible role at the heart of Australia Post’s Community team, leading national programs that create meaningful outcomes for Australian communities while strengthening Australia Post’s reputation, social impact and community connection. You'll have the opportunity to shape and deliver initiatives that support Australia Post’s purpose of helping communities thrive, working across the business and with external partners to drive measurable impact.
You’re a collaborative and purpose-driven professional who is passionate about creating positive community outcomes. You thrive in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment, bring strong commercial thinking and relationship-building skills, and are motivated by delivering meaningful initiatives that align with Australia Post’s purpose of helping communities thrive.
It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it's important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.
We welcome people of all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We're a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We're also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us. If you've got questions about accessibility, reach out to our Diversity & Inclusion team at inclusivecareers@auspost.com.au or on 03 8737 9415.
Research shows that women and people from underrepresented backgrounds are less likely to apply for roles unless they meet every requirement. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't meet every single criterion, we'd still love to hear from you. If you're passionate about supporting leaders, building strong relationships and helping Australia Post deliver for Australia, we encourage you to apply.
