Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland's BlueCare team in Rockhampton/Yeppoon is seeking a physiotherapist to provide holistic, community-based care that enhances mobility and independence. You will assess movement, tailor treatment plans and collaborate with GPs and allied health professionals to improve quality of life.

Permanent full-time role commencing June 2026 offering hourly remuneration from $42.15 to $59.04 plus super, salary packaging, travel reimbursements and leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged care or community settings.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and a road-worthy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, assess and develop care plans.
• Prescribe and select adaptive equipment.
• Educate clients and carers on therapy.
• Set goals and discharge planning.
• Liaise with GPs, nurses and OTs to monitor plans.
