Job summary

Blue Care, part of UnitingCare, is seeking a Physiotherapist to provide holistic, community-based care across Rockhampton and Yeppoon. You will enhance mobility, support independence and tailor programs to individual needs, with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions and chronic disease.

The role is permanent full-time, commencing June 2026, with a comprehensive benefits package including leave, salary packaging and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications and current AHPRA registration.
• Previous experience within an aged care or community setting.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• Current CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups.
• Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modification.
• Education and training on aspects of therapy for the clients and carers.
• Goal setting activities, as well discharge and resolution planning.
• Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored.
