Job summary

UnitingCare Health Pty Ltd. is seeking a Physiotherapist to provide holistic, community-based care in the Maryborough and Hervey Bay regions. You will enhance mobility, tailor treatments for musculoskeletal and chronic conditions, and support client independence.

This role involves developing new treatment programs and collaborating with GPs, nurses and occupational therapists. The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications with AHPRA registration, have aged care or community

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively in community settings.
• A valid Australian driver’s licence is essential.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, assess and develop care plans for individuals and groups.
• Prescribe and select appropriate adaptive equipment and modifications.
• Educate and train clients and carers on therapy concepts.
• Set goals and plan discharge/ resolution pathways.
• Coordinate with GPs, nurses and other therapists to monitor care plans.
