Physiotherapist – Newcastle and Hunter | Community Role

Your Physio Advantage is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our Hunter community team. We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced or early-career clinician, while new and recent graduates are also encouraged to apply for a January 2027 commencement.

The Role

You will manage a community physiotherapy caseload across the Hunter, providing home-based care to older adults and people living with disability.

Your role will include:

• Functional and mobility assessments

• Falls prevention

• Strength and rehabilitation programs

• Pain management

• Mobility and equipment recommendations

• Supporting clients to remain safe and independent in their own homes

Our triage system ensures your caseload is appropriate to your experience and scope of practice.

Appointment lengths and caseload expectations are also tailored to your level of experience.

This is primarily a full-time permanent position, although part-time applicants may also be considered.

If you are graduating in 2026 or are early in your career, you will receive a highly supported transition into community practice, including:

About Your Physio Advantage

Your Physio Advantage is a growing allied health practice of approximately 28 team members, including 12 Physiotherapists.

We provide Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Remedial Massage services across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter regions.

Our Hunter team is well established and supported by senior clinicians, dedicated management and a highly experienced administration team.
