Moama Village Pharmacy invites a qualified pharmacist to join our community-focused team. You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and deliver accredited pharmacy services in a busy rural setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy recognised in Australia.
• Current general registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Sound knowledge of Australian pharmacy practice, standards and legislation.
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-based patient care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with Australian regulations.
• Assess prescriptions for clinical suitability, including interactions and dosing.
• Provide patient counselling on safe and appropriate use of medications.
• Recommend OTC medicines and health products based on patient needs.
• Deliver services such as vaccinations and MedsChecks where qualified.
• Manage Schedule 8 and other controlled substances per regulations.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and patient profiles.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff to maintain high standards.
• Assist in inventory management and expiry date monitoring.
