Direct Chemist Outlet Maffra is seeking a Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy in Maffra, VIC. The role covers dispensing, patient counselling and medication reviews.

You will supervise support staff, liaise with prescribers and ensure compliance with AHPRA, PBS and Victorian legislation. This is a full-time position at 38 hours per week.

Salary is $85,000 per year plus superannuation, with a strong focus on patient safety and high-quality service to the Gippsland community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist.
• Sound knowledge of dispensing software and PBS requirements.
• Understanding of Schedule 8 and controlled-medicine obligations.

Responsabilités

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and in accordance with legislation.
• Counsel patients on safe and effective use of medicines.
• Conduct medication reviews and health checks within scope of practice.
• Liaise with doctors and healthcare professionals to resolve queries.
• Maintain accurate patient, dispensing and medication records.
• Manage dispensary workflow and stock control, including controlled medicines.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff and ensure quality service.
