Job summary

Blacksmiths Direct Chemist Outlet in Newcastle–Maitland is seeking an early career Pharmacist near completion internship to join our busy community pharmacy team.

You will dispense prescriptions, provide medication counselling, and build relationships with patients while developing clinical and professional skills under mentoring. The role offers ongoing training, Saturday shifts, and opportunities for leadership as you grow.

Qualifications

• Current general registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA or Intern Pharmacist soon to have general registration.
• Genuine interest in community pharmacy and patient care.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Interest in developing clinical and professional skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong patient focus.
