Job summary

Aveo's Maple Grove Retirement Village in Casula, NSW, seeks a Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional resident care and financial performance. This permanent full-time role emphasizes facilities management, safety, and a culture of service across the community.

You will manage a large team, drive KPI improvements, and partner with internal functions to deliver a seamless resident experience while upholding Aveo's values of Kindness, Care and Respect.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing Operations or General Manager experience in hospitality or retirement living.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a large team.
• Experience handling resident concerns with practical outcomes.
• KPI improvements, financial results, and resident satisfaction emphasis.
• Financial acumen with P&L budgeting and presenting to residents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and multiple software applications.
• Tertiary business qualification is desirable.
• Two COVID-19 vaccinations required.

Responsibilities

• Lead village operations, including safety, security, facilities, and people leadership.
• Promote resident satisfaction through open communication and professionalism.
• Manage community budgets and present updates to residents.
• Collaborate with maintenance, contractors and Aveo Facilities teams.
• Recruit, onboard, and roster department managers and staff.
• Navigate risk, DoA compliance, and resident relations.
