Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is seeking Expressions of Interest from Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in community and home settings around Adelaide. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to client assessments and care planning.

Ideal candidates hold AHPRA registration, current First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s licence and at least 3 years nursing experience in relevant community settings.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is required.
• 3+ years nursing experience in disability, mental health, or aged care community settings.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and client-focused care planning.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing in community/home settings and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in community and home settings.
• Complete client assessments and develop individual care plans.
• Work within the NDIS framework and safeguarding guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement.

About You

You will ideally possess:

• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.


• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates


• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.


• 3+ Nursing experience – preferably in disability, mental health, or aged care community settings.


• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary service with sound interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills.


• A thorough understanding of contemporary clinical nursing challenges in the community or home setting.


• Demonstrated experience in completion of client assessments and development of individual care plans.


• Working knowledge of quality improvement framework in health care.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Working knowledge of the NDIS framework, safeguarding and safe care practices.
