Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Adelaide invites Expressions of Interest from Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to work across community settings. Successful applicants will deliver person-centred care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in disability, mental health, and aged care contexts.

Travel across the region may be required. You will need current AHPRA registration, CPR/First Aid, a valid driver’s licence, and experience in community health.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 3+ years nursing experience in disability, mental health, or aged care community settings.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary service with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of contemporary clinical nursing challenges in community/home settings.
• Experience completing client assessments and developing individual care plans.
• Knowledge of quality improvement framework in health care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the NDIS framework, safeguarding and safe care practices.

Kirinari Community Services is seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care within community settings, and looking to take the next step in their career.

About You

You will ideally possess:

• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.


• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates


• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.


• 3+ Nursing experience – preferably in disability, mental health, or aged care community settings.


• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary service with sound interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills.


• A thorough understanding of contemporary clinical nursing challenges in the community or home setting.


• Demonstrated experience in completion of client assessments and development of individual care plans.


• Working knowledge of quality improvement framework in health care.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Working knowledge of the NDIS framework, safeguarding and safe care practices.
