Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking a part-time Maintenance Officer for Farmborough Grove and Nareena Homes in the NSW South Coast area. You’ll perform routine and reactive building maintenance, fix taps and lights, move and arrange equipment, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe work practices.

You’ll use a CMMS to log requests and prioritize work with the Asset Coordinator. A current driver’s licence and understanding of safety regulations are essential for this hands-on role in the

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working in a maintenance role.
• Current driver’s licence required.
• Knowledge of building and workplace health and safety legislation highly valued.
• Ability to maintain buildings and equipment per standards and regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Replace light globes, taps and toilets, and other minor repairs.
• Support at multiple sites: Farmborough Grove and Nareena Homes.
• Ensure contractors complete site inductions and work safely.
• Prioritize tasks with the Asset Coordinator to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and respond to requests promptly.
