Evolution Mining is seeking a Community and External Relations Officer at Cowal Gold Operations near West Wyalong, NSW, Australia. You will support community engagement, partnerships and Indigenous relations to create real value for the region, while enjoying a 5:2/4:3 roster and regional lifestyle.

You will build relationships with communities, government and Traditional Owners, and help drive sponsorships, events and reporting for ongoing town engagement and external relations initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, communications, public relations or community development.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver community development initiatives, sponsorships and scholarship programs.
• Build trusted relationships with community groups, local stakeholders and Indigenous Owners.
• Support implementation of stakeholder engagement and Indigenous relations activities.
• Assist with community events, consultation activities and engagement programs.
• Contribute to effective communications, reporting and community enquiries management.
• Support day-to-day operation of the Evolution Town Office and community engagement activities.
