Job summary

Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service (AWAHS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide practical, trusted HR support across our growing organisation. You will be based at the new Wodonga clinic and support 80 staff across locations, reporting to the CEO and partnering with managers.

The role covers employee relations, workforce planning, payroll, recruitment and onboarding, performance management and staff wellbeing, training and development, and HR policies.

Qualifications

• Broad generalist HR experience and ER/IR knowledge.
• Ability to advise managers on workplace matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust.
• Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal culture.
• Practical, collaborative approach to HR management.
• Experience with payroll, recruitment and onboarding.
