Job summary

The Australian Football League NSW/ACT is seeking a casual Game Development Officer to connect children, families and communities across Regional South NSW and the ACT. You’ll help bring football to life in schools, clubs and local events with energy and a can‑do attitude.

You’ll run Auskick and Superkick sessions, support community events and promote inclusion, building local relationships and growing participation. Flexibility across school terms is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or youth teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delivering sports programs in schools.
• Reliable and flexible with after‑school and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Game in schools and clubs with energy and engagement.
• Run Auskick and Superkick programs to build confidence and activity.
• Support community events and game days, including umpiring and ground support.
• Champion inclusion and opportunities for diverse communities.
• Build positive relationships with schools, clubs and families.
• Grow participation and pathways into local football.
• Participate in additional activations to promote AFL across the region.
