Sutherland Shire Council’s Leisure Centres are seeking energetic Fitness Trainers to support members, deliver engaging fitness experiences, and help our community stay active. You’ll bring programming skills and a motivating presence on the gym floor.

Requirements include Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum), current CPR/First Aid, and Working with Children Check. The role is permanent part-time with rosters across centres; hourly rate $30.81–$32.59 plus 12% super. Interviews on 7 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum).
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Working with Children Check for Paid Employment.
• Proven experience in a similar role with strong skills in exercise programming and delivery.
• Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
