The Department for Environment and Water is seeking a Community Engagement Advisor in Adelaide to support day-to-day communications and engagement efforts. You will implement approved activities, maintain channels and websites, and assist with community engagement initiatives to build public understanding and participation.

The role may require emergency preparedness and travel as needed, with a temporary term contract up to 18 months.

Qualifications

• Degree in communications, journalism or relevant discipline is desirable.
• Experience using content management systems, social media platforms and analytics packages is desirable.

• Provide day-to-day internal and external communications and engagement support.
• Implement approved communication and engagement activities.
