Royal Rehab is seeking a casual Community Disability Support Worker in Coonabarabran to support individuals in homes, workplaces and local settings. You will access the community, assist with daily activities, and promote independence while maintaining safety and dignity.

Role requires availability outside 9-3 and residence within travel distance to Coonabarabran; offers salary packaging benefits and a friendly, values-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain).
• Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Worker screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Accessing the community for shopping, appointments and day-to-day activities.
• Participation in a range of scheduled activities such as cooking, art, outdoor physical activities and excursions.
• Engagement in social events.
• Transportation assistance where required.
• Meal preparation and other simple in-home supports.
• Responsible for all aspects of personal care.
• Providing goal focused supports for activities, programs, community supports.
• In home supports and transport/travel.
• Supports related to specific health needs.
• Report writing including daily case notes.

About the role…

We’re seeking a casual team member to join our wonderfulCoonabarabran team, someone who has open availability. With flexibility to adapt to the needs of the individuals we support.
