Job summary

Sydney FC is seeking enthusiastic Community Coaches to deliver football programs in schools, clubs and clinics across the year. You will run sessions for players aged 5-13, follow Sydney FC coaching plans, and promote fun and inclusivity in every activity.

The role is flexible, casual and designed to fit around study or other commitments. Training, uniform, and ongoing development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or teaching children in a sport setting.
• Working with Children' Check/WWC or equivalent.
• Driver's licence and access to transport.
• Ability to deliver engaging sessions across ages 5–13.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sydney FC coaching sessions in schools, clubs, and holiday clinics.
• Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
• Implement session plans and coaching methodology.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, teachers, and club officials.
• Arrive prepared with equipment and on-time performance.
• Represent Sydney FC with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Assist with setup, pack-down, and basic administration.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable CommunityCoaches to deliver Sydney FC football programs in schools, clubs, and holiday clinics throughout the year.

The Sydney FC Community Coach plays a key role in delivering participation programs that promote fun,inclusivity, and skill development. Coaches will represent Sydney FC in the community and help create positive experiences for young players aged 5-13. You are passionate about working with young players, reliable, and keen to grow as a coach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Sydney FC coaching sessions across:
  • School’s programs
  • In-Club Training Programs
  • Holiday Clinics
  • Skills Training Programs
• Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for all participants.
• Implement Sydney FC session plans and coaching methodology.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, teachers, and club officials.
• Arrive prepared and on time with appropriate equipment and appearance.
• Represent Sydney FC with professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong customer service.
• Assist with program set-up, pack-down, and basic administration as required.
