Job summary

Sydney FC is seeking enthusiastic Community Coaches to deliver football programs in schools, clubs and holiday clinics across the year. You will work with players aged 5-13, delivering sessions that are fun, inclusive and focused on skill development.

Join a supportive team, receive session plans and a coaching uniform, and access ongoing coach education. Flexible, casual hours fit around study or other commitments, with chances to work at matchdays and major events.

Qualifications

• Relevant Coaching Accreditation.
• Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check.
• Passion for youth development, football, and community sport.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to deliver fun and engaging sessions to children of varying ages and skill levels.
• Availability during after-school hours and/or school holidays.
• Football Australia Foundations of Football.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sydney FC coaching sessions across school, club and holiday programs.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment for all participants.
• Implement Sydney FC session plans and coaching methodology.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, teachers, and club officials.
• Arrive prepared and on time with appropriate equipment and appearance.
• Represent Sydney FC with professionalism, enthusiasm and customer service.
• Assist with program set-up, pack-down and basic administration as required.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable CommunityCoaches to deliver Sydney FC football programs in schools, clubs, and holiday clinics throughout the year.

The Sydney FC Community Coach plays a key role in delivering participation programs that promote fun,inclusivity, and skill development. Coaches will represent Sydney FC in the community and help create positive experiences for young players aged 5-13. You are passionate about working with young players, reliable, and keen to grow as a coach.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Sydney FC coaching sessions across:

  • In-Club Training Programs
  • Holiday Clinics
  • Skills Training Programs

Desirable Criteria

• First Aid Certificate
