About the role

Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Community Clinician 0-25 to join our growing team on a full time or Part time ongoing basis. EFT negotiable with successful candidate.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented care to children, young people, and their families across community and acute settings. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide evidence-based interventions, and support consumers through their mental health journey within a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct timely mental health assessments (acute and routine), including risk assessment, safety planning, and intake documentation in line with clinical guidelines.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical care, including therapeutic and pharmacological interventions within a recovery-oriented framework.
  • Provide direct clinical interventions (individual, group, and family work) and collaborate with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to support care planning.
  • Monitor consumers’ mental and physical health, provide psychoeducation, and coordinate access to internal and external services.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation and data management in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork, clinical supervision, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Qualified and registered clinician (e.g. Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy) with relevant professional registration
  • Demonstrated experience in child, youth, or mental health settings with strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
  • Strong understanding of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young people, families, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development and delivering high-quality care.
