Job summary

HammondCare is seeking Community Care Workers who speak Spanish or Italian to support older adults across South West Sydney and the Southern Highlands. You will provide compassionate in-home care, travel to clients’ homes using your own car, and be paid per km plus travel time.

Roles are casual or permanent part-time with training and career development opportunities. Applicants with language skills in Spanish or Italian are highly preferred, and a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is

Qualifications

• Relate to people with patience and solutions focus.
• Have a valid driver's licence and access to an insured car.
• Ideally hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support; HammondCare can assist you to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
• Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
• Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
