Job summary

The SAL Consulting Group is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary clinical team across Australia. The role welcomes practitioners from Psychology, Social Work, OT, Speech Pathology, and Education, with Psychologists encouraged to apply for clinical work in community settings.

You will work with individuals and their families, implementing evidence-based interventions and traveling within the Sydney metro and regional areas.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification relevant to behaviour support.
• AHPRA registration is required for applicants applying as Psychologists.
• Experience or interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health presentations, and/or complex trauma histories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of assessments – behavioural, clinical, psychological, and multidisciplinary.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality behaviour support plans and assessment reports.
• Provide behaviour support for children and adults with complex disability and mental health needs.
• Deliver therapy and direct treatment across age spans.
• Collaborate with care teams, families, and the systems around an individual to support implementation.
