Job summary

Nexia Healthcare is seeking a motivated Allied Health Assistant to support neurodevelopmental care for children and adolescents in Melbourne and Sydney. The role involves community-based assessments, home and school visits, and collaboration with a paediatric-focused team of specialists.

You will assist with interventions, documentation, and family engagement while advancing evidence-based practice in a multidisciplinary setting. Flexible hours and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health, or currently pursuing OT or Speech Pathology.
• Experience with children and adolescents in mental health or neurodevelopmental context.
• Excellent communication and ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• NDIS workers screening, Police check and WWC; valid Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver community-based assessments and interventions led by Allied Health professionals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, OTs, SLPs and other assistants.
• Maintain timely documentation and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide hybrid service in clinic and client homes or school settings; coordinate with childcare centres.
