Great culture and purposeful work
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply
Our Fundraising team is expanding, and we have a new opportunity for an experienced Community Fundraiser to join our high performing team and deliver national fundraising campaigns for our NPF Organisation.
The ILF is a national charity working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander remote Communities across Australia. We are Community-led, responding to requests from remote Communities for culturally relevant books, including early learning board books, resources, and programs to support Communities to create and publish their stories in languages of their choice.
The Community & Campaigns Executive will deliver ILF's community fundraising, campaigns and supporter engagement initiatives that grow income and strengthen relationships with our supporters and communities. You'll lead the end-to-end execution of ILF's fundraising campaigns, including the Great Book Swap and Busking for Change, so that every school, fundraiser and supporter has a great experience and feels connected to ILF's Community-led work. You'll also strengthen and grow ILF's DIY and peer-to-peer fundraising revenue and donor experience, and coordinate fundraising events and supporter activities. This is a full-time role working closely with our Publishing, Programs, Marketing, Fundraising and Operations teams.
At the ILF, we collaborate across teams, recognise the unique strengths each person brings, and are committed to excellence in everything we deliver. If you're seeking a workplace grounded in trust, authenticity and shared purpose, you'll feel at home with us. While relevant skills and experience are important, we place the greatest weight on alignment with our values and culture.
The Indigenous Literacy Foundation considers that being an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational qualification under Section 14 (d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
