Job summary
Discover Nursing Australia is seeking a reliable Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 community access support on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. You will assist with appointments, shopping, transport and engaging activities while upholding the participant’s goals and care plan.

Qualifications
- Must hold an active ABN.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You.
- Reliable insured vehicle for participant transport.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 community access support.
- Assist with appointments, shopping and errands.
- Accompany to cafés, parks, attractions and other destinations.
- Support participation in recreational activities and personal interests.
- Provide transport for community activities.
- Offer companionship and support positive social engagement.
- Encourage participant choice, independence and confidence.
- Align with participant’s NDIS goals and support plan.
