Canberra Health Services (CHS) invites applications for an Aboriginal Health Worker – Community. In this role you will undertake clinical and psychosocial assessments and develop culturally responsive intervention plans, including referrals, liaison and advocacy across acute, primary health and community services.

You will work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to shape services, lead quality improvement projects and promote culturally safe care, while building trusted

Qualifikationen

• Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People Act 2011 is required.
• Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
• Provide Confirmation of Aboriginality.
• Have or be willing to obtain a Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or equivalent.
