Communications Network Technician – Join Our Team in Walkley Heights, SA

Are you ready to participate in the deployment of the latest roadside communications network infrastructure in South Australia? We’re seeking a skilled Network Technician or Electrician to install, commission and maintain network devices across South Australia. This will include deployment of Switches, Copper and Fibre networks, IP devices (CCTV cameras and other roadside ITS devices). This diverse role involves collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operations of new and replacement assets.

What You’ll Bring

  • SA Electrical Licence or Open Cabling registration
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Communications network infrastructure and assets
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience working in road and traffic environments (desirable)
  • Ability to prepare financial estimates and track budgets (desirable)
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with team members, stakeholders, and clients
  • Confidence to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to environment, quality, and safety standards
