Support effective communication with CSSA members through newsletters and updates

Assist with the drafting and publication of the Annual Report and other key publications

Support the promotion of CSSA events, reports and advocacy campaigns

Monitor and report on communications performance metrics

Translate complex policy and advocacy messages into accessible content

Basic graphic design and multimedia skills

Understanding of media relations principles

Tertiary qualifications or similar in communications, public relations or a related field

Understanding of, or capacity to understand and work within a Catholic organisation guided by Catholic Social Teaching

Self-starter with sound judgement and ability to work in a small team

Challenges of the role

Balancing operational tasks with strategic communications objectives

Translating complex policy issues into accessible content

Maintaining consistent messaging across multiple platforms

Understanding the organisational links between CSSA and the Catholic Church

Achieving outcomes with limited support in a small team

What we offer
