Job summary

Ignite in Sydney is seeking a Communications & Engagement Officer for a permanent fulltime role. You will manage social media channels, develop compelling digital content, and coordinate events and forums to engage diverse stakeholders.

The role supports government programs with domestic and international reach and helps deliver communications campaigns across multiple channels. Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are

• Previous experience working in the government sector
• Current Baseline Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one
• Strong experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content
• Demonstrated event coordination and stakeholder engagement experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, creative and solutions-focused mindset
• Confidence working independently and delivering high-quality outcomes
• Mandarin-Chinese language skills are highly regarded
