Job summary

Securitas Australia is seeking a Commissioning Technician to oversee commissioning and technical functions across major security projects in VIC. You will work with Project Managers, Engineering and Service teams to ensure delivery of CCTV, EACS and integrated security systems.

You will contribute to system documentation, installation and test plans, and provide hands-on technical leadership while mentoring other technicians and apprentices. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic security commissioning or similar technical role.
• Proven ability to lead technical activities and mentor others.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee commissioning and technical functions across projects.
• Coordinate activities with Project Managers, Engineering and Service teams.
• Lead technical activities for CCTV, EACS and security systems.
• Develop installation and test plans and as‑built documentation.
• Support project handover and documentation quality.
• Mentor technicians, including apprentices, where applicable.
• Maintain clear stakeholder communication throughout delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve technical processes and standards.
