Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment – Eastern Creek NSW is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our growing team. The role focuses on testing, commissioning and ongoing support of electrical systems for fuel infrastructure projects across Sydney's industrial sites.

Based in Eastern Creek, you will carry out testing, fault finding and commissioning of control systems, read electrical drawings, and travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Trade Qualification and current Electrical Licence required.
• Proven experience in testing and commissioning industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with PLCs, including fault finding.
• Willingness to travel to various Sydney sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• NSW Electrical Trade Qualification and current Electrical Licence (or relevant Engineering Degree with applicable experience).


• Proven experience in testing and commissioning industrial electrical systems.


• Experience commissioning control systems and ancillary equipment.


• Sound knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.


• Experience with PLCs, including basic programming and fault finding.


• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.


• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Current Australian Driver's Licence.


• Ability to travel to various sites throughout Sydney.
