Job description

Location: Wimborne
Working Hours: 37.5 hours a week (Working 5 in 7)
Hourly Rate: £12.50 Per Hour
Assignment Length: Permanent

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our client in the Wimborne area. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to build a strong culinary foundation in a fast-paced and supportive environment. If you have a keen interest in food, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing food
• Reviewing the menu and doing inventory
• Following the budget set by the Manager
• Ordering food for the kitchen
• Monitoring food production and food and staff costs
• Training staff
• Managing relationships with distributors and resolving any issues with vendors, promptly
• Ensuring standard portions and quality of dishes
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen
