Job summary

Beverly Rooftop in South Yarra is seeking a casual Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll assist across sections, maintain a clean, efficient station and follow recipes to ensure consistent plates during peak services.

This role offers real training and a clear path to progression within a vibrant dining environment. Ideal candidates have some kitchen experience, solid knife skills and a readiness to learn.

Casual Commis Chef | Beverly Rooftop, South Yarra

We're looking for a casual Commis Chef to join the kitchen at Beverly Rooftop.

The venue

We're on Level 24 at 627 Chapel Street with 270-degree views over the city. The menu puts a Southern Californian spin on modern dining, backed by a serious cocktail list and a room with real energy. It's busy, it's fun, and we do big numbers, so you'll learn fast.

What you'll be doing

• Prep and service across the sections
• Keeping your station clean, organised and ready to go

• Working with the team to keep the pass moving on busy services

What we're after

• Some experience in a commercial kitchen

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery or currently studying is a plus
